News is Money

Interesting, seeing the change, in the Spin.
Saw a commercial this morning, (ABC News), saying, ’No Spin, Just the Facts’.

WHY ?

Could it possibly be, the majority of the people, are sick and tired, of 80% of the big Media, Spinning/Lying/Omitting Facts ?

Could it possibly be that Majority of people, are sick and tired of the, ’Stand in the Street Criers’ ?

Could it be, that the big media, are looking to get back viewers, so it can sell advertising.

It would be very good if news became factual and balanced. The way I see it - YMMV - the left wing press is telling the truth. However, they decide which truth they want to present and hence can skew a topic heavily to one side. The more main stream right wing press work on a similar way, only they will try and tilt their readers into believing something rather opposite. So while neither side is actually lying, they do try to inflict an opinion.

News sources like BBC, New York Times and Fox some of the proponents of that line of thinking. They will work hard to present correct facts, but they tend to present somewhat one-sided facts that support their own beliefs.

On the other side of the fence, you have the extreme right wing press that construct their own "truth" and "facts". Breitbart is one such source, out of many, but those who believe them will of course deny this. I'm sure it is the same on the far left, I just do not know of any from the top of my head.

Fact checking is a nightmare these days, but I'm glad its at least possible.

I don't use any mainstream news media as my primary source of information anymore.
