Title: Re: Pretty sharp cookies, able to dislike the choi Post by Eegore on 07/09/18 at 10:30:22 People in general are fooled this way all the time. The Tonight Show did it for decades, however the information we don't get is how many people answer correctly. After seeing this post (I don't have a video) I asked self-proclaimed Trump supporters at a client worksite what they felt of the new appointee and 7 out of 12 agreed it was a good choice. Another example of "Draining the Swamp" was used as an answer a lot. Is it blind support? Yes. Is the tactic/method misleading? Yes. This type of leading-question interviews works both ways, on all people of all ages. Look at wine tasting studies. I think it says more about our psychology than our education or knowledge levels of any topic. For some reason a lot of people don't say "I don't know" when asked a leading question in a certain way. |
