Title: The irony of it all Post by faffi on 07/11/18 at 16:11:09 With two clear opposing poles; one ultra-pro Trump and the other ultra-con Trump, presenting facts (true or imagined) to support the opposing views is actually a waste of time. The more a lover of Trump states how fantastic he is, the more convinced the hater will be that he does nothing good. And the other way around. This is quite universal about just about any topic, not just Trump. https://www.minnpost.com/second-opinion/2010/10/why-people-dont-change-their-minds-even-when-faced-facts So in fact the best way to sway someone, or at least make them less rigid in their opinion, is to say nothing or say what they want to hear albeit with stark exaggerations ;) |
