You wanna hear the definition of irony from St Louis this week?

We have a two large parks in the middle of the city. One of them, Tower Grove, had had a statue of Columbus for over 100 years.

Now some lefties want to tear it down because Columbus opened the door to expansion that eventually overwhelmed and destroyed the indigenous culture.

Aren't these the same people repeatedly telling me it's unreasonable (and racist) to think the current influx of unchecked immigrants will eventually overwhelm and change the historical American culture?.....

The unchecked immigrants are being stopped by primarily Caucasian run government, that if not for Columbus would never have come here.

It would be a Native American problem today, and they would have been ok with mass immigration.

Nobody would have been oppressed or enslaved, because only Caucasians do that.

At least that's the logic where I grew up. They have been trying to stop the Columbus Day event for decades. Police have to come out, set up barricades etc. Sons of Italy throw first responders a 24 hour dinner to show their appreciation for keeping the event safe.

Invasion, slaughter, enslavement have been the NORM, and it was not just white people.

But they don't really point that out in school.

Yet stand in the Street and Cry, Steal, Destroy, Disrupt, Chant Death Threats, and call everyone else, ‘racist’.
Because someone said:, ”NOT, to open the door, and let everybody in, because it will change the culture’.

A-Yep that would be the same people that believe, only Caucasians have ever oppressed or enslaved someone.
