Title: The biggest gun....... Post by raydawg on 09/07/18 at 11:06:11 One would think because of Trump's unpopular numbers, and all of his personality problems, which I personally hold against him more than any of these anonymous reporting's ;D That he alone would cripple the republican chances to holding on to their majority come November. You couple that with the predictions of a giant blue wave, by many, and I just can't understand the need to bring out Obama to stump? It seems to me there must be some indicators that are not being made public, that a hail Mary pass attempt is needed to ensure their/a victory. The only thing I can think of is its NOT Trump, they worry about at the DNC power meetings, no, but fragmentation, and REJECTION of the old whiteness of the party oligarchy..... Man, the whitehouse is still 2 years away, the BIG game, and they're bringing out this guy who COULDN'T HOLD his OWN majority together.... Man, sumtins up? :o |

Title: Re: The biggest gun....... Post by T And T Garage on 09/07/18 at 11:15:53 Perhaps. The establishment dems are being pushed aside to allow for true progressives to take over. Look at the recent history of the dems. They're rupub-light. They've turned into pu$$ies (not the kind that donny likes). They cower and put out their hand like Oliver wanting "more please". It's about time for the true democrats to stand up and grow a pair - and that's what we see happening. Like I've said on many occasions, Obama was (and is) a corporatist. Yeah, he passed meaningful healthcare legislation, but it didn't go far enough. The likes of the establishment are falling away - slowly. The Justice Democratic positions poll in the high 60's (percent). Medicare for all is a viable and very popular platform. Yet Obama doesn't endorse it. From the looks of things, there's still going to be a blue wave and it will be in spite of Obama, not because of him. Voters are smart - when they vote. When they don't, we get the likes of the orange don. |

Title: Re: The biggest gun....... Post by WebsterMark on 09/07/18 at 12:28:08 For the Democrats, Obama was a complete failure. They lost the house and senate. His candidate to replace him, Hilary, lost to a reality tv star as you guys like to say. Part of the speech i just saw would be valid if he'd been on another planet for 8 years but he wasn't. He was in the middle of it and lead the charge towards more divisiveness. He's once again relying on the media's protection by them not reminding everyone his role. They won't. |

He lost it because he was so popular, or more because of what TT eluded too? Seems like beating a dead horse..... You beat it harder to revive it, eh? ;D No, change is about in the party, as the socialist/progressive are staking out their territory, AND, winning primaries too. Will it hurt in the midterms......??? I think it has a very good chance of doing the Ross Perot effect to the party, which got Clinton elected. If they continue to run against being White is the cause of everything, they lose big time, I believe. Fighting hate, with hate, and racism with racism, won't bring home a winner. Swamp draining, old folk being forced to the home, new ideas, push back, its all forging new territory where the past is going to be a pretty useless indicator of the future. Stick shift or automatic? :D |

Web, the economy aside, etc..... Trump is the apex of Washington politics. All of this falseness has resulted in him being where he was able to get elected, because the politicians had no real foundation to stand upon, as their shifting and demagoguery left everything in play. He just out played them, plain and simple. ;D |

You ever wanna try and be honest? Look at DC. Listen to just Booker alone. They all sound like Trump, act like Trump, the very things they hate about Trump...... The goal has always been about winning, even if you have to tell lies, or pretend to be something of which you are not. Yeah, everyone but Bot is fooled. ::) Wake up, do yourself a favor, nor not..... Its why I drank, life I thought I couldn't handle (it) without it..... Made it so easy to believe my own lies. |

There is reason for the "excitement" at the hearing has less to do with trump and more to do about what mitch the turtle did to Garland. They set the table for this. Further, the questions, the releases of the "confidential" emails and every other "terrible" thing that the dems have done are examples of the dems finally showing some backbone. The repubs don't like that. The goal has always been about winning, even if you have to tell lies, or pretend to be something of which you are not. [/quote] There are no lies being told by the dems here ray. (oh wiat, that's right, you're a dem... ;D ;D) What's happening is that for once, the system is being held accountable. It needs to work for all, not just one. The repubs want to play - well then, we'll be your huckleberry.. |

Title: Re: The biggest gun....... Post by WebsterMark on 09/07/18 at 14:00:45 Trump is the apex of Washington politics. I disagree. Trump is the opposite of Washington politics. That's why he won. He was a 3rd party candidate, like no other. |

They all sound like Trump, act like Trump, the very things they hate about Trump...... Geez.... I hate agreeing with TT.... No one is like Trump. Booker is like every other angry Democrat. He's not unique. Take the Spartacus gag he pulled. The difference is Trump would have really done a Spartacus, Washington politicians are only capable of doing what Booker did. |

Well Web, we'll disagree then...... Its all theatrics, showmanship, barking. Trump, just revealed it for what it is. His TV success, or whatever, was just a off Broadway production, tuning up for the Gala affair of Tinseltown acting, where sheep get lulled into the a make believe world. Reality, left long time ago ;D |

Yeah, too funny, dialogue no, regurgitation and talking points. |

He doesn't know how dumb he is. |
