It's as funny as the clown pretending the wind was shoving him around and people strolling along behind him.

But trust them and obey..
It's this kinda crap that destroys their credibility, which makes people comfortable with shrugging off warnings.

Either her, or the person(s) who ordered this should be terminated in my opinion.

I agree that this type of behavior reduces credibility and appropriate response from viewers. I also feel more education on where reliable information can be found, for instance utilizing the National Weather Service instead of ratings-based news programs for reliable information.

I have no references or data, this information when compiled and posted represents my opinion.

Under just a few inches of water in the dark,.. there can be curbs, drop-offs, ditches, or debris hiding...
Maybe they don't want the people they rescue tripping and getting injured...

And did they Say
The canoe isn't needed because it's deep?

Are they using the canoe for rescue?
Isn't that just a news crew?
Who needs rescue from six inch water?
What they did was ridiculously and worthy of ridicule.
So, it's ridiculous.

And paired with the water skier being towed by a truck or the jet skier having a blast... who cares... the guy who just fell into an open man hole and swept to sea.
