My friend who rides Harleys commented that my Ryca cafe project,
"Needs a set of 20 inch apes!"

I shot back with,
"The only 20 inch ape that will get near this bike is Chim Chim from Speed Racer!" ;D

He is after all..................... a Harley rider.

I routinely include that question in the thoughts and perceptions element of the mental status exam - "do you currently, or have you ever thought of riding a Harley?" And if endorsed, the obvious follow up - "And have you ever considered the use of ape hangers?"

Full disclosure, I did myself go through my own "Harley" phase. But, now in full recovery.

Only the unfinished Kubota build. Still don't have a full shop set up after our move to town. It's been forever. But still an ape-hanger-free-zone.

I don't have a problem with Harleys
As long as they are a K model, Cr1000 or a Xr1200.
