The Georgetown University professor who tweeted for the deaths and castrations of Senate Republicans during the height of the Brett Kavanaugh controversy has been placed on a “research leave.”

Professor C. Christine Fair reached the “mutual” agreement with the dean of Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service to “go on research leave effective immediately,” according to a tweet from The Georgetown Voice.

Research leave is lame, but it's a step.

Georgetown University "School of Foreign Service" huh?

Kinda makes me wonder what sort of horsesh*t they teach at that place, and where the graduates go looking for work once they finish their indoctrination - sorry, I mean education - if this professor Fair person is typical of the faculty.

I'd be willing to venture a guess though, on account of GU being only a couple of miles down M Street from Swamp Central. ;)

I'm not exactly sure what a "research leave" is but it sounds a lot more like a paid vacation than a punishment to me.

Or maybe like the old gangster cliche; "better get outa town for a while till things cool down" :D
