Apparently, a side effect of TDS is an inability to comprehend what you read. How about the whole story or as TT would say, 'context matters'.

Near the end of the segment, a caller from Burlington, N.J., asked Trump how he handles stress.

“I try and tell myself it doesn’t matter,” Trump replied. “Nothing matters. If you tell yourself it doesn’t matter — like you do shows, you do this, you do that, and then you have earthquakes in India where 400,000 people get killed. Honestly, it doesn’t matter.”

Note the words 'try and' ....

Some doctors and probably all healthcare personnel in triage situations, don’t see the patients in front of them as people, part of humanity with histories, families, hope and dreams. If they did, they’d make poor decisions.

Trump was saying in stressful situations requiring decisions, he’s developed a mechanism that’s clearly worked well for him. No different than what many if not most doctors do. I’ve made business deals and converted customers to my company that most certainly put other people out of work. I’ll be in Colorado tomorrow and with a little luck, I’ll do it again. I don’t think about the other guy.

I know you’d like it to be true that he doesn’t really care about anyone, but that’s ridiculous and again shows how deeply you’ve allowed Trump to dig under your skin.

You are the one who is taking the 'try' out of context. He's talking about stress. Do you think a bunch of Indians dying in a hurricane causes Donald any stress?

I can't believe you scoured the article and only found a little three letter word, which only relates to the sentence it was used in, and then you bold it and highlight it in red and use that to ignore everything he said. You have a special gift.

I've read some of your other more lucid comments and I refuse to believe you're as stupid as the reason you started this thread. You're so heavily infected with TDS, it clouds every facet of your reasoning.
Words matter and yes, Trump is saying how he handles stressful situations. If a doctor said the exact same thing, it wouldn’t raise any flags with you, but your hatred for Trump is so strong, it over rides your common sense and reasoning.

For crying out loud, Trump gives you plenty of real things to b!tch about, stop trying to squeeze together jigsaw puzzles pieces that don’t below.
