Title: More Good News Post by T And T Garage on 11/15/18 at 15:30:58 Unless you're a republican that is.... http://www.npr.org/2018/11/15/668296045/ranked-choice-voting-delivers-another-victory-to-house-democrats Democrat Jared Golden was declared the winner Thursday in Maine's 2nd Congressional District after trailing Rep. Bruce Poliquin in the initial tally of votes. But Golden was declared the winner thanks to Maine's new ranked-choice system of voting, which allows voters to rank candidates in their order of preference and to transfer their votes if no candidate gets more than 50 percent. How's all that "winning" going there trumpy? |

Title: Re: More Good News Post by T And T Garage on 11/15/18 at 15:34:58 Oh, and this too: http://www.npr.org/2018/11/12/667214148/democrat-kyrsten-sinema-wins-arizona-senate-seat Democrat Kyrsten Sinema has defeated Republican Martha McSally to win the Arizona Senate race, the Associated Press projected Monday evening. With Sinema's victory to flip the open seat of retiring GOP Sen. Jeff Flake, she becomes the first Democrat Arizona has elected to the Senate since 1988. She will not only be the state's first female senator but will also be the first openly bisexual senator in U.S. history. |

Title: Re: More Good News Post by WebsterMark on 11/16/18 at 07:04:44 Democrat Kyrsten Sinema has defeated Republican Martha McSally to win the Arizona Senate race, the Associated Press projected Monday evening And she already lied. Welcome to your next 6 years AZ. Here is candidate Kyrsten Sinema in July, on Chuck Schumer’s future as Senate minority leader: “I am not going to vote for him,” she flatly told Politco. Well, here is Sinema on Wednesday, shortly after Schumer was re-elected Senate minority leader by acclamation. Nobody objected |

But here you go mark - one of your own stating what the real issue is: http://www.yahoo.com/news/gop-senator-says-voter-suppression-131053341.html “And then they remind me that there’s a lot of liberal folks in those other schools who maybe we don’t want to vote,” Hyde-Smith can be heard telling a small crowd of young people outside her campaign bus in a video taken Nov. 3 and posted on online Thursday. “Maybe we want to make it just a little more difficult. And I think that’s a great idea.” But now she says she was "joking".... uh huh. (and let's not forget her 'public hanging' comment) Yeah, she's all yours. |

Title: Re: More Good News Post by T And T Garage on 11/16/18 at 13:00:08 To pile it on a little more: Democrat Katie Porter captured a Republican-held U.S. House seat Thursday in the heart of what once was Southern California's Reagan country, extending a rout of the state's GOP House delegation that might not be over. Porter's upset in Orange County is a sign of changing times in a region once known nationally as a GOP fortress. The coastal county southeast of Los Angeles was home to President Richard Nixon, and President Ronald Reagan once likened it to a Republican heaven. http://www.yahoo.com/news/democrat-porter-flips-gop-house-seat-southern-california-013740079--election.html |
