I just finished two different versions of a front brake upgrade on my LS650 project. Brackets are machined and bolt up beautifully. Next step is to rebuild the caliper, install SS line and bleed. Should have more stopping power than my lil bike would ever need.

Nice work!

It is a shame you haven't posted the build stuff into a single thread....so it could be included in a "bike build" thread.

Maybe I could merge the ones I can find into a build thread - would you want me to do that?

Thanks fellas! Not sure if I’ll offer kits or not. The idea sure isn’t off the table but I’d like to do extensive testing first.

Thanks for the offer Dave! I think I’ll start a build thread specifics to this bike. I had one started but it seems to have lost interest and maybe it wasn’t in the right location. I posted this as a brake topic just to see what people though of the work.
Could you give me a little guidance as to where to post the build of this bike?

Just start a build thread in this Rubber Side Down Section. Title the thread or build to suit your bike build. (Mine is ThumpinSpecial).

Once the thread gets far enough along to have some content....I will link it into the Bike Builds section.

nice brake, but I'm more interested in those wheels.How about a tutorial on mounting them? Tubeless tires rule!!!! 8-)

I plan to do a whole right up on the bike, including the wheels, etc. I’ve been a little strapped for time lately.
