There's the Walls of Jericho, they didn't frikken work.

What about the gated community where Reeva Steenkamp was living with her future ex boyfriend who was literally legless when he blasted her brains out through the toilet door. Those walls didn't work for her.

The Berlin Wall did a pretty lousy job at being a wall.

Then of course who could forget the mighty walls of the fortified and secure structure of the most powerful nation in the history of the world and possibly the entire known universe. I'm talking about the pentagon, an Arab with a box cutter and a borrowed aeroplane messed up that wall pretty bad.

There's the Great Firewall of China, but that's just a VPN away from pointless.

What other walls can you think of that didn't work?

WWII - the allies weren't stopped on D-day (the Atlantic wall)
nor later at the Segfreid line (the west wall) or the Germans at Maginot line(France)
