Title: IS THIS FAMOUS OIL LEAK Post by Girlridesavage2002 on 04/25/19 at 13:40:09 So tried to replace the clutch cover gasket that my husband told me it was leaking from which I knew better but what the hell he opened it and guideline for timing chain was broke off and floating around so plus side that cant mess up anything else but still leaking from the nut on right side of engine just wondering I have a 2002 650 runs fines just leaks like crazy |

Title: Re: IS THIS FAMOUS OIL LEAK Post by batman on 04/25/19 at 17:47:22 Check a Clymer's book ,there are three bolts that hold the side cover on that pass through oil channels and thus need seals under their bolt heads, One of those is directly below the arrow in your picture. remove it to check if it has a washer shaped seal ,if not you may have swapped it to a wrong location when replacing the cover. |

Sorry I have no pictures of the inside where timing chain guide broke I was to excited to get the bike back together |
