Ya know what, after watching, listening to all of this stuff, from the House, to the Senate, after Russia, and all the other failed attempts at getting Trump......
I think they dam-n well know the truth, that is, they stand no chance of beating Trump at the moment.
He is way ahead of any support he had in 2016, its solid, and appears to be growing.

They know they have been extreme, they have departed from the normal protocols and procedures, with this impeachment.....
But they have nothing else.

I bet they too, want it to fail, for two reasons.

1. They know if it succeeds, they will have to deal with it again, when their party occupies the office. They know all too well, how Harry Reid screwed up, when he changed the game, and the damage might not even be done still....

2. They are merely using this whole episode as a campaign tactic, nothing more....free air time, and praying it changes enough undecided and swing voters, minds..... that really is all they have, not much else they can do....

A Hail Mary.....

It prolly would've worked, but not now, given their attempts so far have all failed, in fact, looking at the FISA lying, FBI, etc.... and with Durham report still to be released....which we already know is bringing indictments.

Not looking good.

They could have ran a straight game, offer idea, plans, but they decided to attack Trump instead....
Not sure how much the AOC branch played into this, but Nancy really seemed to be pushed into the route, because of the fragmentation caused by those leftist....funny too, because just the other day, AOC said the democrats and republicans are one and the same.....WOW, she seems to really been a major PITA for the party leadership....that's for sure.

Clinton was impeached 2yrs into his second term, and was hit with 11 articles. The crimes committed by Clinton were actual crimes, felonies and misdemeanors however they were of nearly no national significance.

One of Trumps 2 articles is "obstruction of congress" a true bogus charge if there ever was one. He was "not so nice to us" awwww so cute Nancy, here's a little pat on the head, now go play with your fellow trolls.

The other is debateable at best, but it is of national importance, especially after Hopey lost Ukraine. LOL It was of national significance before Hopey lost it, now its money down a bottomless pit LOL. It was of national significance that for whatever reason we don't give them bupkis. LOL.

Now with 9 months to go in the first term - this basically is a political stunt, and its because they know they'd lose. Ofcourse they will re-impeach next January to tarnish Trump's name after leaving Office. After all that worked so well for Clinton LOL.

They're doomed and they know it, and Hilary is going to lose 2020 to Trump again - because she's butting in, likely burying Sanders again.
