Title: Re: Electricity from air Post by srinath on 02/24/20 at 10:05:47 Well if you read that article and I really don't blame anyone who didn't, the membrane has to be put in a moisture gradient, and the molecules will generate energy when they cross it, and you can put a nice big layer of it, and put multiple layers to make more electricity. Now it says "self maintained moisture gradient when its exposed to humidity in the air. So when its put in the air, one side gets more moisture then the other and that makes electricity, put 1000's of this in series, and you get more voltage ? Big membrane = more current. My bet is, the greenies wont like this either. What happens to the water after all the moisture gradient is all maintained ? dump it into a lake ? Likely good idea but still greenies probably wont like it. Cool. Srinath. |
