Boone NC is beautiful, I recently rented a cabin in Traphill NC, also beautiful mountain and curvy road country. I dunno, I always go snow tubing in Boone, not sure what the roads there are like LOL. Cool. Srinath. |
Title: Re: Always a new place to ride ! Southern Dozen ? Post by pg on 02/26/20 at 16:28:51 I passed through Johnson City a few years back. South of there is quite nice and pretty much anywhere in Eastern TN and Western NC is really scenic. I went through Appalachia to Western Pa and back on my KLR. Best regards, |

We spent the night in Boone. It is a nice area, just like a good part of the region. My first in-laws had a summer home there many years back. MM, wasn’t there 4 of us in Boone ? |

Post by MMRanch on 02/27/20 at 09:04:10 I remember I had a sleeping bag and a floor spot and had a great time ridding in the area ! ... :) , seems like the camp/cabin area had a washer and dryer --- and we had rode through a shower right before stopping for the evening. |
