Listen to them, do not treat this like the "standard flu". If anything think severe pneumonia. There are no vaccines, do not buy anything online as a treatment, do not consume silver and such. Avoid vapes and smoking. Use N95 masks only if needed and do your best to acquire them from official/trusted sources as there are a ton of fakes in production. Oxivir or other TB disinfectants might be available, use the dilution ratios exactly, do not under dilute.

Follow CDC recommendations even if your State provides less restrictive guidelines. I am having posts archived but are not reading them so I don't know what is being said/done on the forum. Stay safe.

I see some colloidal silver research in my work. And while it has evidence of being bactericidal (causes the bacteria membrane to split open and kill it) in clothing and other things exercise related, it is NOT a catch-all-kill-all. It relies on the bacteria to engulf the silver and then the killing commences.

If the bacteria aren't hungry at the time or don't come in contact with the silver nano particles (usually around or below 50 nanometers) then they survive, of course.

So, while in some applications colloidal silver and other noble metals (gold, copper, etc.) have some mild effectiveness, DO NOT treat them as a sanitizer or rely on them for proper disinfectant of this or any other virus.

The fatality rate from this is very low, like 1% if I recall. Ebola and SARS were 30 and 40%+ weren't they. Its good to stay quarantined and work from home as possible (which it is for me) but extreme precautions like silver etc not required.
However Vitamin C, D, E, Zinc etc etc help.

And very vital to get those from food or sources concentrated from food, not chemical sources. Of course sunlight is D, and the best bet.
Now if you look every vitamin source of Vitamin C has Ascorbic acid and only ascorbic acid. That is not all vitamin C. Vitamin C is 4 different things in a wrapper of ascorbic acid. Taking ascorbic acid depletes your vitamin C because it does something like create the actual vitamin C and some of it actually will be excreted.
My favorite source - Sauerkraut and this has to be pickled not the soaked in vinegar crap.

Stay away from other people as much as possible, use antibacterial soap before hand sanitizer. Cancel any trips that involves groups, go ride somewhere away from others, disinfect the gas pump nozzle before and after use, carry soap. Wear gloves, disinfect them, disinfect your helmet especially the chin straps before and after use. US borders will be restricted soon if they haven't already. Medical facility availability will be restricted soon, pharmaceuticals will be reduced soon.
