Title: TwinThing entertainment thread
Post by ohiomoto on 04/21/20 at 18:24:57

During these times of Covid-19 induced isolation, a lot of us are looking for a bit of entertainment.

TwinThing Custom Motorcycles is a custom bike builder run by twin brothers in the UK.  They seem to gravitate towards mostly building small displacement custom bikes in the brat/scrambler/cafe styles.  Cool stuff.

You can learn more about them here: https://www.twinthing.co.uk/

They also like to film fun little videos for each of their completed builds. Some of the videos have a storyline some are just a few minutes of them riding the completed bike around.  The production is of good quality.

The videos can be found at
https://www.twinthing.co.uk?wix-vod-comp-id=comp-iyho5tnv
or
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBljL9vKRewqJ0reS5EGm8

I propose you share one of your favorites below (either the bike or the video production).  Maybe tell us why you like the it.

Here is one that I like because of the acting and production.  And I still have a soft spot for old Triumphs (even though I think this one is modern T100).  They usually tell you a little bit about the build in the video description on YouTube if you are interested.

*To show a video in your post, used the "Insert Media" button, pasted the address, and removed the "s" from "https" making it read "http".  Thanks to Dave for that tip!

I posting another just because it's fun and has the same actor in it.  (The guy is a legit actor BTW.)

They seem to be using many bikes 400cc or less and older models as well ,makes you wonder why it might pay to put one together yourself on the cheap ,just for fun! Very cool!

Those guys do great videos, I've posted them elsewhere myself.  Very cool.  They recently did a james bond themed one, based on one of those hideous cruiser-styled bmw's from the late 90's.  I think it was called the R1200C or something similar.  Worth a look.

Saw it.  It was good.  Outtakes at the end were funny.

Agreed, those really made me laugh.  What did you think of the bike?  I thought it was an improvement on a rather ugly stock bike.  Still wouldn't be my choice, but it was surprising to me that they were able to make it look ANY better; in stock form, I think the 1200C is one of the ugliest bikes ever.

Yeah, I'm not into most BMW builds.  There was a really cool older build that showed up a while back that I loved, but most of them aren't my cup of tea.

The video was fun and I love the Aston Martin in the opening:

Wow, that was cool! Digging the Triumph, too!
