Title: cmsnl.com: highly unserious behaviour
Post by Nico on 06/27/20 at 04:13:20

Is there anyone who has experience with cmsnl.com ?. They sell a big range of parts for vintage Japanese bikes. I ordered there twice. I had to pay a high cost for sending and they were extremely slow in delivering the parts, even when they were on stock. I recently made another order. No reaction after two weeks. I write an irritated letter. Still no reaction.
Well, that is one company I will avoid at any cost. Even if they had a delivery problem, they should COMMUNICATE.

I have no experience with that company - it appears they are located int the Netherlands.

Recently I had issues with Bike Bandit - which was not at all in keeping with my past experience with them.  I believe the problem with Bike Bandit is the current Covid problems.  Bike Bandit has always been great in providing customer service, getting my order processed on time, and communication.  The last order that I placed was not filled in 2 months, and when I attempted to cancel the order I could not get through on the telephone, the Live Help did not function, and my emails were not answered.  I made several emails and even sent a letter......eventually I could see that the order was cancelled when I logged onto the site - but they never sent any communication from them telling me that they had cancelled my order.

I believe most of these companies are currently understaffed and operating under challenging conditions.  The lockdowns and quarantines and layoffs are understandable - as they likely don't need many employees if they can't get supplies delivered for them to sell.
