Hey all...
I'm here in San Jose CA and I've got a '88 Savage [stock] with a cracked charcoal canister, part of the CA required emission control system. I was doing an oil change a couple of weeks ago and noticed the charcoal "pellets" falling out. They look like 'mouse turds' and I know my bike doesn't have mice! Anyway... I went to my local MC store and they looked it up and said that they don't make the canister for the older Savages anymore. Does anyone know if the new Savages [S40] being sold in CA have canisters that might fit my bike? The MC store said they didn't know. Thanks for all your help!

I don't know why they would change or if you would notice.
they only hook up a couple of hoses and bolt to the muffler bracket.

Might have one extra.
