I think most anyone that is going for the dualsport or offroad functionality is putting an 18" rim on the back. Tire options open up and you dont end up with a fatcat tire on there.

A few years back I remember somebody was looking for a dual sport tire to fit a Zong scooter. The tire was not imported into the US and the fellow was not having any luck finding a way to buy it and get it sent to the US.

The Savage rear rim/tire size is 'Cruiser" oriented......and therefore the tires that fit it are street tires.

This is a dirt bike tire, and is not street legal, and likely has a soft tread and would wear quickly. The thread is nearly 9 years old!

I looked with no success back in the summer. Closest I found was the Kenda K671 with a 130-90-15, so that’s what I got... suits the bike well I think.

I don't think it would be any surprise that you can't get an off road tyre for a 15" Cruiser rim.

Off road tyres are made for off road bikes, if some of the sizes cross over to street bikes then good luck to you if that's what you want to do.

I think I would have bought a dual sport machine if I was going to be on un-sealed roads often.

I have the Kenda K671 on my current Yamaha Seca II, it's a pretty decent gravel road tire. Much different size in my case, but very cool that it also comes in Savage sizing!
