Yesterday I rode my 2019 Lifan Xpect 200 CC home in a pounding rain. It's got less than 700 miles on it and I got it for a thousand bucks..
It handles surprisingly sure footedly in the rain on its semi knobby tires.

Tell me , Is it smooth ? I've toyed with the idea of having a legal dual sport.

Years ago I had a 200 china bike and it vibrated in a big way is why I ask.

After the dual sport , I had a 250cc China ATV that was smooth as any 250cc could ever be ...
At one point I had a 150cc China dirt bike that was smooth . is why I bought the 200cc.

It's okay. The tires are lumpy enough to feel it and at a certain speed they sound like a distant siren. Fifth gear and eight k on the tach is around sixty. Passed a You Are Going This Fast trailer and I think the speedometer was lower ..
It's smooth, certainly compared to a Savage,, I'm sure therey are bikes out there that ya can't feel.
Common mods are bigger front sprocket, open up exhaust.

The dash has gear indicator and fuel gauge and IIRC the brag is 100 mpg.

It doesn't maintain a steady rpm with steady throttle, at least cold. Seems I felt some surging at a steady twenty MPH, well after it was warm. I was thinking some jetting issues , but I was just messing with it and it's injected!
