Yep, 3 types of 4nm cores now with the least being as powerful as the best cores from 3 years ago and the newest X cores being comparable to some Intel i3 chipsets.

If you take the time to read this, you will see how the Apple M1 can do what it does .......

Now this 4nm stuff can go into the current Qualcomm and Mediatek chipsets starting right now as the 4-5nm process is ready at TSMC to build all of it.

This is a MASSIVE MASSIVE UPGRADE going up the Cortex-X1 Cortex-X2 pathway. The article explains the how and the how much, but it all simply means phones will be carrying i3 to i5 computing power in your pocket.

This 4-5nm stuff will take a while to get reasonable in price, so I can some good use out of my newest cheap deal $49 MotoG Power phone while waiting for it all to get "reasonable priced" again, a many times repeated ARM progression that takes 2-3 years to happen.

You can also sense that Leatherman Hwang will get a WHOLE LOT of resistance to taking over ARM as lots of different companies and whole countries will have problems handing all of that power over to Hwang for him to hit them over the head with all of it.
