I don’t care if they did whip them from on top of a horse. If I was trying to break into somebody’s house, I would expect to get hit.

And if they were inside the house and you could see them pointing guns at you as you tried to crawl through the window, would you expect to get shot?

Is it reasonable to expect that any human at any time, pointing a gun at you, would shoot?

An individual coming through my window versus a woman, in broad daylight, with witnesses, and Me, not alone, but with armed friends,, and I'm supposed to be afraid for my life in that scenario?

You see, if a person was crawling thorough your broken window, and you ‘thought’ they may have a gun, in your home, and you shot them.
(and they died)
Their relatives would Sue you for 12 Mill,
and win.

BUT, if you were crawling though a broken window,
with NO gun of any kind,
or any gun at all evident.
And people,
WITH DRAWN GUNS,
Backing You Up,
(regardless of where you are)
You, Shoot and Kill that person.

Perfectly OK.

No.

I asked if it is reasonable to expect that any human at any location at any time for any reason that is pointing a gun at you would shoot you?

It's not like these people were invited in, they knew they were forcing their way in, and people were pointing guns at them. If I were there I would have a reasonable expectation that any human pointing a gun at me as I climbed through a window would shoot me. My assumption is that they are pointing a weapon at me because they intend to use it.

It’s doubtful she understood the full situation at the moment, but Ashley Babbitt put herself in the position that got her killed. The officer was adjudicated in private. Michael Brown attacked an officer, tried to take his gun and was killed. The officer was crucified in public. Treyvon Martin turned and attacked someone following him, bashing his head against the sidewalk but was surprisingly shot and killed. The citizen was likewise crucified in public.

Fair or not fair, choices have consequences but serious consequences often turn into legal actions. Some of which are more fair than others.

Illegal aliens breaking into the country to steal from me should expect to be stopped. When in a group trying to overwhelm border patrol, the consequences are likely to be extreme. I’m fine with that.

Puddinhead threatening agents in order to encourage future Democratic voters to overwhelm agents during the next wave is likewise a choice with consequences.
