My Sportster never leaked a drop , but all the BSAs I owned , everyone of those old thumpers leaked or seeped something somewhere. But you are way more apt to check your oil if you know it leaks , if it doesn’t leak you never check it !

I had a 71 Triumph that never leaked a drop. I was as surprised as I would have been had one of my Japanese bikes did leak a drop. lol

Hay my Sportster didn't start leaking (Weeaping) till about 45k miles. One heat-up /cool-down cycle too many ? ::)
It was good all through its twenty's and thirty's ! ;D

If you are not leaking oil it is because you are out. ;D
