Title: Has anyone turned their 650 into a trike? Post by Arhardy27 on 09/13/22 at 08:18:03 I had a stroke 3 years ago and can no longer hold a bike up or balance one. I was thinking of turning mine into a trike so I could still ride. Thoughts? |

I've thought about The Day I can't ride a bike, and AFAIAC, If you're not leaning in the corners, it's not a motorcycle. The funny looking three wheelers that lean the front wheels Might scratch that itch, IDK, but I'd probably be okay with a tired old Miata. |

Title: Re: Has anyone turned their 650 into a trike? Post by Needles on 09/13/22 at 10:30:53 Unless you re-angle the front end, you'll have to be STRONG to ride a trike. Nashville Metro PD used Honda Shadows fror parking tickets years ago. They were hard to steer. Single front trikes are not stable anyway. You might want to see if you can find a used Polaris Spyder--- it'll probably be cheaper than a Savage trike conversion, plus they have ABS and power steering available. |
