herself. I don't understand why it didn't go after her, but that would have been a really disturbing video if it had. People talk about Situational Awareness, I do, and I also know I'm not very good at it, but I can't imagine anyone seeing this threat, and if it was me and I Did see it, I don't know how it would have been an advantage.

this happens all the time here, people just don't know it.
bears, m'lions, deer, coyotes, skunk, possum, etc.
they don't attack humans unless they're sick usually because the one's that do are hunted down.
Ojai is rural.
they're making an overpass strictly for the fauna to pass over a freeway.

Sometimes that temptation is too great and they do. That was a perfect prey situation hidden and elevated , jogger would never see it coming. Mountain lions love a hidden elevated launch points , they go for the head & neck area and almost always from behind. Hope she’s not protecting or teaching her cubs.
