Title: Turning over by hand

Yo savages,

Adjusting my valves recently, I kept the spark plug in while turning the crankshaft with a short breaker bar and was surprised how little resistance there was . . . How much should there typically be in a scenario like this? It felt like not much compression but I have no frame of reference.

yeah, I do the same.  if you go slow, it'll leak thru the rings and just use a ratchet wrench but there's enough compression that'll spin thru the power stroke.
