I know the Kawasaki EN 500 pulley can be fitted to change the gearing, but does anyone know if the belt from the EN 500 is longer? As I want to lengthen the swinging arm but retain the belt drive.

Count the teeth on the Savage belt...I believe it is 132-133 teeth.  I found a post that stated 132 - but the number painted on the belt has a 133 in the part number that looks like it could be a tooth count.

The Kawasaki EN500 and the KZ750 belts appear to be 137 teeth.

I talked to the folks at Worldwide Bearing in Fairfield NJ. I gave them the belt info, and they were able to source a slightly different belt.
