Title: Straw poll Post by WebsterMark on 09/23/24 at 04:53:35 I’m at our company conference and we’ve got about 350 to 400 people here. These are people who work in the manufacturing sector. Easily 95% support Trump even though they’re not necessarily happy with everything he says and how he acts but they laugh at the ridiculousness of Harris, even her rare supporters. No one who supports Harris supports her based on her policies or the belief that she would be a better president. The few that support her do so solely because they do not like Donald Trump. |

To be successful, sometimes they need to pivot based upon the circumstances and other times they need to be convinced they’re on the right path despite obstacles. That’s why most businesses fail within five years. It’s very difficult to do that. They will tell you they support trump because it’s more likely the conditions he will put in place, will make their businesses thrive more than Harris. |

The trust level in “news” is at it lowest since Covid, peaceful George Floyd protest or that on Jan 6th we almost lost the country. The protection they give Harris makes the protection they gave old demented Pudd’nhead look like nothing. They have completely enveloped her to create a persona that she simply is not. They do the opposite with Trump, they lie about everything he says, but to be fair he gives them plenty of fodder. Again, he’s his own worst enemy. I’m still 50/50, it could go either way. In eligible and illegal voters could certainly make the difference in certain states. I suspect the Democrats are working very hard in those key states to “ find the votes”. |
