Title: Optical Delusion ! Post by zipidachimp on 09/28/24 at 19:46:04 I never thought my S40 was a small bike until last week. Drinking a coffee at McD's and looking at my bike in the parking lot, it looked really small. Walking out afterwards, and standing beside it, it is small! Maybe I should quit parking between monster P-ups! Feels perfectly normal during a ride and in the garage! Cheers! :D |
Title: Re: Optical Delusion ! Post by zevenenergie on 09/28/24 at 22:06:18 They ask me al the time if its a moped. I'm not kidding. I drove a Moped for a while (slightly tuned). That was much more practical in the city because I could drive between everything and also the one-way streets in both directions. But now they know me that way. And I'm quite tall. So people quickly see a moped in it. I really have to say no,,,, it's a motorcycle, and then they often don't believe me. It's not really macho to drive a savage in a country where people are much taller than the world average. I usually say that I just took the training wheels off. |

Title: Re: Optical Delusion ! Post by JOG on 09/29/24 at 07:30:20 Yeah, they Are small. I actually looked like a regular sized guy when I was riding one. Well, I looked like a regular sized guy on a motorcycle further away from the viewer than I was. |

Title: Re: Optical Delusion ! Post by MMRanch on 12/02/24 at 18:01:59 I put taller shocks on my S-40 to make it look taller and found it didn’t drag the foot pegs as often [ch128513] Really the 350 Meteor is bigger than the S-40 but it’s only almost as much fun to hot rod ! |
