However, that’s more than a slippery slope. That’s a ski jump and you better know how to land before you start down. And while there’s an obvious element of opinion in news programs, editing answers from one question and assigning them to another question so that she looks as if she’s got a good handle on a topic, is beyond the pale. I honestly don’t know if that’s what precisely happened but it’s clear they did something to make her more electable. The problem is they would never, ever do that for the Republican candidate and hell would freeze over before they did anything for Trump. |

If so, like I said, that’s beyond normal partisanship. If they cut rambling answers short because it made her look like an idiot, that’s also beyond the pale. If they cut answers short for time, that’s certainly allowable and makes perfect sense. But it is CBS and 60 minutes so they DO NOT get the benefit of the doubt given their history. |
