Yeah that's pretty much the only argument I hear about this too. People will complain about tariffs until there's evidence contrary to their complaints, so they just complain about Trump instead.

If Harris did this then these tariffs would be fine. This isn't an economy driven arguments, it's a who I like argument.

The data they used to create the article comes from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. They also interpret them correctly from what I have seen.

This is an opinion for anyone incapable of understanding what an opinion is.

What's interesting is it has been established that Government resources are not to be believed, but now all the sudden we are to believe them.

So the truth is, Government information that does not say what I want is false/lies, but Government information that supports what I like is true.

Interesting you would admit to that. So basically if the data aligns with what you want to be factual then it is truth, and if it doesn't align with what you want to be factual, then it's false. The workaround here is to use the "lies" approach, but without actually looking, or Observing, the math.

For instance nothing about this report you are using now is different than any other report. Math ads the same no matter who is POTUS.

An example is the multiple times the exact same word for word Covid stats were "lies" when I used the data, but it was truth when you did. Literally the exact same information.

It's not what the data really says, like the objective truth and how math works, it is only valid if the data supports the information you want to be true. If this Dept. of Labor Statistics report said Biden outperformed Trump one would probably say it was lies. But since it says Trump did better, the same exact numbers magically become truth.
