To me, and this is my opinion for anyone incapable of understanding what an opinion is, would be that a victim coming forward is a human making the statement themselves. Like if I say my friend "came forward" with allegations and gave the courts a letter - they would probably want to know who my friend is right? My opinion is yes. In my opinion they would need a statement from the actual friend in real life. Couldn't anyone on social media type a victim statement themselves then say it's a victim coming forward? |
