Title: Front fender/mudguard  extender
Post by blod on 01/17/25 at 15:47:54

I'm looking for a fender extender for my Savage.  Has anyone extended theirs, if so what fits ?    Thanks :)

Row has that solved. It's been on for years, looks tidy.

eBay & amazon both have a bunch of fender extenders , plastic & rubber. I’ve always used the rubber ones.

Just a cut piece of rubber from a truck mud flap , that vintage look. A box knife & free old mud flap , couple of bolts. I’m a huge fan of the free part !  Savage does have a short front fender.

I don't have a picture. But if I was working with a police sketch artist I'd start with
Blue Muppet.
And yeah, you're funny,, and yes, sometimes I Am a romantic stuntman. When I'm not being a Jakkass. Meh,okay, they Aren't exactly mutually exclusive. There is the occasional overlap.

Do you know who I'm referring to now?

This was the best I could do given the circumstances. I like the way I could fix the extension in place without nuts and bolts, it makes it  neater.   The only problem is getting a curve the same as the fender, in fact I found it impossible, and that's why it's short.

I am hoping the plastic ones I have coming have an acceptable curve and are long enough. I think I will be able to fix them without nuts and bolts.
