Title: Trim $2 Trillion of Government Spending
Post by Serowbot on 02/06/25 at 11:38:12

There's Actually an Incredibly Easy Way for Elon Musk to Trim $2 Trillion of Government Spending: Cut Funding for Nuclear Weapons
https://www.yahoo.com/news/theres-actually-incredibly-easy-way-150518925.html

As The Scientific American opines, this would almost single-handedly achieve Musk's promise that he'd shave $2 trillion off in federal spending.

Musk has signaled interest in reining in out-of-control military spending before. Last November, he tore into Lockheed Martin's F-35 fighter jet, whose notoriously janky development has cost taxpayers $2 trillion — huh, that same number again! — and counting.

"Let us stop the worst military value for money in history that is the F-35 program!" Musk wrote in a tweet

We Need to ditch the Green idiocy. Rebuild power plants, gas, nuclear and coal.

The F35 is too expensive. It's riddicullum writ large. I'd like to SEE the "Sales" of them. Let's just see how much money we Gave to the purchasers.

Instead of that leftard laser focus on criticism for Musk and the DOGE team, instead of hyperventilating over the Outrageousness that an Unelected BILLyunaire is Taking Over the economy, why not Look at the AbSoFrikkenLOOTley INSANE spending,, nahh,, that isn't spending, it's just WASTE. Seriously, fifty million for rubbers for Palestine!?? And That is just the Tip.. .. Spend a minute looking at what they have found.
Like adding a known carcinogen to food, why just CHOOSE to waste Any tax money?
Why does Anyone NOT support DOGE?
Because it, like a controlled border, benefits America?
Trump?
Srsly,, WTF?

Because Musk was not elected and his actions are illegal
Legal challenges will reverse almost all the things he's doing

Trump administration agrees to restrict DOGE access to Treasury Department payment systems

Attorneys for the Justice Department have agreed to temporarily restrict staffers associated with Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency from accessing information in the Treasury Department’s payment system.

The agreement comes after a group of union members and retirees sued the Treasury Department alleging that providing DOGE access to the federal government’s massive payment and collections system — and the personal data housed in it — violated federal privacy laws.

When you turn on the lights, cockroaches scatter which is what the Democratic deep state is doing because their money laundering schemes are  being uncovered.

Keep going Elon.

Are you unhappy about FIFTY MILLION dollars in condoms not going to Palestine?

Are you unhappy believing such unrealistic claims?  Billions of condoms sent to Gaza?  It's like people refuse to use their heads at all if the words say something they want to be true.

 FIFTY MILLION, get real.

I wouldn't be surprised. Our government seems to love to waste money. Lot of pork.

That's ridiculous.  Nobody is shipping a Billion condoms to Gaza without more evidence than a misread spreadsheet.

I am not here to argue the validity of the claim. I am merely saying the feds have spent millions on far more ridiculous activities. I have a funny example here. Operation Midnight Climax. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Midnight_Climax

Well there's nothing really to debate as there's no feasible way that many condoms went to Gaza.  But yeah that Operation kind of a go-to for any type of Government policy nonsense.

I tend to find it insulting that anyone, especially a guy like Musk to make these "FIFTY MILLION in condoms to Gaza" claims since anyone that takes 5 seconds to do grade-school math would know that's greatly inflated.  He would tear that math apart in seconds if someone said Trump did it.

How stupid do they think the general population is?  Then I end up seeing people blindly defend such claims without question.

I remember an infamous report that was released by the U.S. Department of Defense shortly before the September 11, 2001 attacks. On September 10, 2001, one day before the attacks, then Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld stated that the Pentagon could not account for $2.3 trillion in spending. This was reported during a press conference in which he spoke about the bureaucratic inefficiency within the Department of Defense.

The next day, September 11, 2001, the attacks occurred, completely overshadowing this news.
One of the buildings hit was the Pentagon, with the wing where financial records were kept being hit.

Pattern of Disappearances in Defense Budgets

The U.S. government has a history of unaccounted-for money. In 2016, the Pentagon’s inspector general reported that $6.5 trillion in funds could once again not be traced.
In 2018, the Pentagon failed its first-ever financial audit.

It would save a lot of money if musk were allowed to cut down the military as if it were a company.
But I have no illusions that that would ever happen.
I think the cesspool is too big.

Take a look at this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=677i43QfYpQ

The BBC later stated that it was a simple mistake due to the confusing situation on that day.
They allegedly received information from Reuters that was incorrect or passed on too early.
The BBC also said that they had lost the original recording of this broadcast.
So there is no reason to think that there was anything behind the scenes that could not stand the light of day.

According to the official report from NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) that followed later, the cause of the collapse was intense fire caused by debris from WTC 1 & 2. This would have weakened the steel structure, leading to a symmetrical collapse.

So nothing to worry about.
But about that money... where does this go to because it is not small amounts?
2.3 + 6,5 =  8.8   Trillion

It's hilarious that they think the government won't waste 50 million on something as silly as condoms. 50 million dollars for the feds is like a penny for us. Maybe less. Literally throw away change for them. We literally measure our debt in TRILLIONS.

It's crazy to think over a Billion condoms went to Gaza in such a short time and nobody noticed.  Wouldn't there be tons of evidence?  Literally tons.

There is waste for sure, but it the tables were turned and someone was claiming that Trump sent a 50 Million in condoms to anywhere, people would be all over how stupid it is to think a Billion condoms showed up in an area with no other evidence than the words from one person.

The real question is why can't the government waste 50 million dollars in general, why does it just absolutely have to be condoms in Gaza?   Because that pisses people off more than being honest.
