Abused by only selecting a minority to meet a policy to have X-amount of non-white humans selected and also abused by claiming DEI can only result in underqualified hires. Everyone can find a way to vilify anything. I've used DEI by policy for hiring for decades because I am only interested in the most efficient outcomes. Often times it is more efficient to hire an equally qualified woman for instance. I will however be accused of hiring an underqualified woman over a man based off her sex. |
