Title: GDP Post by thumperclone on 04/30/25 at 09:10:23 lowest point in three years nothing to do with the maga FELONS' actions it's Bidens' fault |
Title: Re: GDP Post by zevenenergie on 05/01/25 at 00:01:05 You're going a bit overboard. I wouldn't say it's all Biden's fault. He was nothing more than a puppet in his final days. But you're clearly on the right track. Keep it up. |

Title: Re: GDP Post by zevenenergie on 05/01/25 at 03:38:12 It is not constructive to respond with sarcasm. |
Title: Re: GDP Post by WebsterMark on 05/01/25 at 05:10:16 I’ve not noticed or felt anything different from an economic point of view over the last 100 days. Gas price is down a little is the only thing I noticed. From a business point of view, sales so far are about the same as last year although we’re looking forward to one or two overseas competitors getting nailed with tariffs because they’re bringing in containers of products made with ultra cheap labor against our US made products. Plus we do a lot of business in high tech fields and the push to bring chip mfg and building data centers here n US is good. Other than Trump saying stupid crap sometimes like making Canada 51st state, I see no downsides to this administration so far. |

So you've just given up on the freedom of speech, a free press, birthright citizenship, the right to a fair trial, alliances, and sane economics ? Setting those aside... my dog could run the country better |
Title: Re: GDP Post by WebsterMark on 05/02/25 at 03:49:27 Freedom of speech: I just saw a news show with some clown congressman producing articles of impeachment against Trump and he was speaking freely. We recently had a case, where a journalist published transcripts of a chat that he was unintentionally included on. As far as I know, that journalist is still alive! Pretty good freedom speech. Free press: i’m not aware of any publications having their doors kicked in and shut down by the government. Birthright citizenship: yes, we need a debate on that. You cannot sneak into the country nine months pregnant have a baby baby Who is granted, automatic citizenship. That was never the intention, and it was always a stupid ruling. Fair trial? Other than Trump, who hasn’t gotten a fair trial lately? Oh, and other than January 6 protesters. Sane economics: we just gone through some of the most aggressive completion during the previous administration? Let’s just wait and see what happens here. As usual, you’re exaggerating and just repeating talking points. And let’s be honest, most of those things that you think are happening to everyone, are only happening to Republicans. |

To be fair Conservative humans, including judges have supported the birthright citizenship rulings and applications as well. This is my opinion based off the empirical written evidence in US court cases. It is an opinion that I do agree that the current application of US law in reference specifically to birthright citizenship is abused and should be up for debate. This is an opinion. The previous sentence indicates this is an opinion. In my opinion the repeating of "subject to the jurisdiction...etc." argument is a poor argument. This is an opinion. My opinion is that the "jurisdiction" argument is nothing more, in my opinion, than a deliberate misinterpretation designed to appeal to humans unwilling to educate themselves with historical applications of US law. This is an opinion. So the efficient and adult method of addressing birthright citizenship would be to interpret it in the current State of the Country while citing the multitude of abuses. This is an opinion. This post is an opinion. |
