It is a demonstration against Israel committing a genocidal act in Gaza. This genocidal act is now being recognized by more and more organizations in the world. Most Dutch people are strongly against what Israel is doing. The relationship between Israel and the Netherlands has always been excellent, but Israel has lost all its support in our country. The government officially spoke out for Israel at the beginning of the conflict, but that was only accepted by a few population groups. Now the government is also beginning to speak out under enormous pressure from the population. Not surprising, because who wants to be on the wrong side of history. Seeds more countries see this.
