…is appoint Lee Zepdin. Getting rid of those stupid “leak free” gas cans. I never spilled, so much gas in my life other than trying to use a leak free can. If there’s anything, everyone on the side can get behind, it’s gotta be this.

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued letters to portable fuel container (PFC or gas can) manufacturers encouraging them to add vents to gas cans to ensure safe and effective refueling. This announcement comes in response to years of complaints about slow, frustrating fuel flow from modern gas cans. With this reminder to manufacturers to incorporate self-closing vented designs, EPA wants to help make it easier and faster for Americans to refuel.

“Part of Powering the Great American Comeback means ensuring manufacturers have the clarity and encouragement to deliver products Americans want,” said EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin. “The confusion surrounding gas cans has been a frustration for years. We are proud to address this issue head on. Moving forward, Americans should have gas cans that are compliant, but most importantly, that are effective and consumer friendly.”

They were a perfect example of DFI, WOKE, UL, FDS'ers,
creating a design for something they knew nothing about, because they,
NEVER USED ONE !!!.

As soon as that crap started I started collecting the old style ones. I have a Buncha gas cans, 1 ,2 & 5 gallons, enough to load a rollabout cart and shove a few in storage.
I've never owned one that has the leftard valve.

I was in Boston once on the Harvard campus, and they had toilets that sucked out the waste when you flushed them. They had a vacuum system build in. It was pretty loud.

The kitchens had a macerating system in the drain. You could throw all sorts of things down it without it getting clogged.

Maybe it would be an idea to combine these two features? you would have a super toilet.

No need to eat and process the food, you can throw it straight into the toilet, which is much more efficient.

And if you place the toilet by the front door, you can put your groceries straight from the car into the toilet when you get home.
Just look at how much time you'll save.

we've been in a prolonged drought
let's waste water we have an abundance ::)
