Or the FREEDOM, to Say what YOU Believe. All, FREEDOM Nations have Dumb The USA WILL SURVIVE, the attempted Communist & Socialist takeover. |

The Nordic countries have homogeneous populations, they have populations only the size of many of our individual US states, and have tiny defense budgets. When that’s the canvas you have to paint on, you can create an awful lot of social programs especially since they are very capitalistic when it comes to making money. Consider Canada, which is physically larger United States, but with a population of California, it’s facing serious challenges now, as it bumps up until the reality that cradle to grave social programs ultimately deliver. Sweden is beginning to seriously struggle because of their foolish plan to bring in mass refugees who do not assimilate into the Nordic culture. If New Yorkers elect this socialist mayor, and if he is able to put through some of his stupid ideas, New York will continue its plunge downward started with Democrats. |

MAGATs have been saying California is failing for at least two decades, and in the meantime, its economy has gone from 5th in the world to 4th. Scandinavian countries have capitalist economies controlled by socialist ideology. Economies are complicated--- MAGATs can't get over the fact that very few complex problems have simple answers. MAGATs also can't understand that economics and government structure, while related, are different processes altogether. That's why they confuse dictatorship with economics. They are too simple minded. The arguments are : dictatorship vs democracy, and capitalism vs socialism. Any mixing of the terms is comparing apples to bananas. OK. Cuba restricts speech. So does China. So does Putin. So does 47. In the comparison of dictator vs democracy, the US is now a dictatorship. That has nothing to do with the economic system. I maintain that, in the world market, the US's version of capitalism cannot hope to compete while there are socialist produced products. The rest of the world knows this, and even the capitalist countries have moderated their capitalists with "socialist" laws. What's wrong with requiring a successful mega corporation to help support the people who made them what they are? What is a "true" democratic socialist country? Is it the same as a [i]de facto[i] democratic socialist country, like Scandinavia, Europe, GB, and many others? ::) |
