Title: East Wing
Post by Serowbot on 10/23/25 at 13:08:54

Trump has bulldozed the entire East Wing of the Whits House to build a ballroom twice the size of the White House itself
Next is the Arch de Trump monument to himself
With no other approval than himself

Tell me where your sanity lies :-? :-?

They act like renovation has never been done before. And what WAS there, was in really great shape. All they Really want is to be offended, keep the hate turned Up..

Y'all DO realize he's just using the ballroom as an excuse to reinforce the bunker? China has a Mach 7 drone now.

From my point of view, the country is in a better position now than a year ago.

I’m ambivalent about the east wing. I never considered it part of The White House. Not easy to see from the streets anyway. I would have assumed there was a proposal and agreement system in place before renovations are done.

Since leftist dominate news media, I doubt all the claims I hear in the background and airport TVs about Trump’s unilateral actions tearing it down are  really true. Maybe I’ll work up the energy to look into it, maybe not.

Here I go.

Trump has taken on the cartels that have been poisoning the population for years and using the billions he earned to influence politics.
Perhaps you can imagine that fewer drugs on the streets would have a healing effect on America.
And that it is therefore a good thing. And how bad it is that Democrats are frustrating it.
The left is America's true enemy right now.
Your beloved China is deliberately trying to contaminate all known drugs with fentanyl, to create even more addictions.

In our country, two months ago, about 50 children were admitted to the emergency room because of candy laced with fentanyl, originating from China.

The narrative is being twisted by the left.
So Trump is doing something essential for America and the Left is making something bad out of it.

Trump is doing a great job.

I'll take this opportunity to highlight the left's hysteria about the White House renovations. This way, we stay on topic.

It's very common for presidents to renovate the White House.
The Democrats fear that after his term, Trump will leave tangible proof of his good policies that cannot be erased by narratives.

Here I go!

Major Renovations & Alterations at the White House

President      Date/Period      Key Changes
George Washington      ~1791-1800      Site chosen; building of what became the Executive Residence, designed by James Hoban.

John Adams      1800      First president to move in, even though construction was not fully complete.

James Madison      1814-1817      After British troops burned much of the White House during the War of 1812, Hoban rebuilt it; reopened ~1817.

James Monroe      ~1824-1830      Added the South Portico (~1824) and later the North Portico (~1830), giving the building its familiar front façade.

Andrew Jackson      1830s      Major re-furnishing and interior décor upgrades (he spent a large sum on new furniture).

Theodore Roosevelt      1902      Large modernization: interior re-work and creation of the West Wing for presidential offices.

William Howard Taft      ~1909      Further expansion of the West Wing; development of what became the standard Oval Office.

Franklin D. Roosevelt      1942      Addition/expansion of the East Wing; increased staff/office space during WWII era.

Harry S. Truman      1948-1952      Massive reconstruction: the interior of the White House was largely gutted and rebuilt (only the exterior walls remained) to correct severe structural issues.

John F. Kennedy      1961-1962      Significant restoration & re-decoration led by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy; redesign of the Rose Garden and state rooms.

Jimmy Carter      1979      Installation of solar-heating panels and first computer systems at the White House.

Bill Clinton      1993      Restoration and refurbishment of the Executive Mansion (main residence).

Barack Obama      2009      Added the Kitchen Garden on the South Lawn and updated other grounds/amenity features.

Donald Trump      2025 onward      Announced construction of a new ~90,000 sq ft State Ballroom in the East Wing, estimated cost ~US$200 million, beginning Sept 2025.

It's more the fact that 47 is an illegitimate criminal posing as President than the fact that he's doing the renovations.

Exactly. In the most ironic part about that is Democrats are actually the empire. Republicans are actually the rebels.

But I’ve read several articles lately that this ballroom was sorely needed. When they had large events, they set up tents and Porta potty‘s. Nice Porta potty‘s, but Porta potty’s nonetheless.

This is just another meaningless freak out because it was Trump. It’s not a big deal.

The best thing I've heard, from people in the construction industry, is that the whole project will take at 5-7 years to complete. That is an estimate, because they haven't even decided on plans or blueprints yet. DC has some pretty strict building codes...
