Anyone have any idea how the heck you remove the clucth plate nut to get to the cam chain?? Do i need a Very long socket bar?

My next question would be, where can i find a CHEAP cam chain?? Anyone know anywhere? The ones from my local dealers are V expensive, three times what my KAW was....

Placing soft copper in the primary gears to remove the clutch nut or crankshaft nut works.  It is best to use soft copper and not a penny, as the penny is a bit too hard.

I have been cautioned not to use the nut of the left side of the crankshaft while working on the right side.  The crankshaft halves are held together by a press fit in the center where the rod pin is located, and torquing across the crankshaft has the potential to twist it out of alignment.
