Speedometer Ratio

Does anyone know the drive ratio on the speedo? I want to go with a handlebar mounted speedo and I am looking for some suggestions.

I guess no one has this answer short of taking something apart.  I don't know that I've seen it printed anywhere.

How about a front wheel driven speedo from a bike with a 19" front wheel?  That would work.

I'm not sure if that would be the same ratio or not. I will go electronic if I can't come up with a compatible mechanical one.
I don't really want to play around with swapping wheels to go with a  wheel driven unit either.  I may have to look into making a housing for the existing unit to mount on the handlebars although it is a bit large for that.
