I decided to just get the purple. I am going to sand it down and paint it flat silver and stencil black skulls and crossbones on it.  Grin

Congragulations on your new bike!  The Savage is great.  Have fun with the paint job. Lots of people customize the Savage -- you'll fit right in.

I just picked it up last night. I couldnt pick it up earlier because of all the paperwork business and the Suzuki dealership trying to slide in the $1400 extended warantee to my bank. (did I mention that I hate dealing with salesmen?)

Anyway, I rode all around town last night. Put just over 50 miles on it. Its my first bike and I felt totally safe. I went over cattle guards and speed bumps, I road on the highway and in downtown, and even had my friend ride on the back.

The only thing I can say about it is that when I was on the highway I would have liked to have more power. The wind is something else too....darn. I am going to get a supertrapp asap.
