The info listed in that link is also in the motorcycle safety book handed out by the Maryland Motor Administration. I always believed that a 2 wheeler would stop in a much shorter distance than a cage. That MSC will definitely refresh my memory after being absent from the saddle for 25 years. As soon as my S40 comes in that is.
