A few more and then this thread is done. I rode the bike home today. I rode the Savage over to the shop today to finish up on this... and it sits there because I took this thing to the house...
this thing rocks by the way. The suspension stuff I did is really flat out rock solid ride. It needs a little dialing in but its close to perfect even now. All the motor mounts and new adjustable shocks are definately noticable. And after breaking in the tires this thing hugs the corners at 60 mph plus without worry... I am very pleased with it. I was really rockin the last few miles home.
I was able to heat gun the original "pole position" sticker off the old and replace it on the new, painted to match, "drink tray" above the glove box. Thats hard to find thing. And a nice touch to be able to accomplish moving it over. All the rest of the badges are hard to find but can be found. That sticker cannot be found. So saving it and moving it over on top of new paint was a major score.
The lighting was a bit better today to get some pictures. Black and chrome is rather hard to photograph properly. Even now its hard to pick up the tiny flecks or Silver in the paint. That only shows in bright Sunlight at certain angles. I was wanting to do accomplish that... I did not want it too gaudy... so its subtle and suprising.
Misson accomplished!

Nice looking scooter. I like the red springs and the chrome trim around the fairing. 60 miles per hour? Well, that's not your average scoot.
What lake is that? Near Clemson?

Well the highest indicated speed I hit was 110 Km per hour so that more like 67. I would need to have someone clock me to see how inaccurate the speed really is. I suspect its close to 65 or so... And thats stock motor. I have heard of kitted motors reaching 85 or better.
That is Lake Hartwell and this was taken on one of the Dikes overlooking it in Clemson
