They made me type in all this information about myself and then told me my application would be reveiwed and they would let me know if I was accepted. I feel like I just had a crappy job interview.

They try to exclude non bikers and lurkers in that forum. The name Be_Savage attracts a lot of wierdos believe it or not. Alot of people think the name implies some sort of a singles group. Still, even with screening new members, their topics of discussion are often way off subject anyway.

There's another one that's somewhat specific to Central Texas (mostly the Austin area) also. I think it's just called Savageowners.

Likewise, I don't frequent the Be_Savage forum much anymore ... this Community is light-years better ... lots of great advice and interesting banter!
Used to frequent the Beginnerbikes.com Message Boards ... they were a super bunch of folks and the format similar to this, but the website closed and now the once close-knit community has been fractured to a few other websites ...
