This is what the aftermarker "hot boxes" do- they cheat the CDI and change the timing. Usually You connect them in line with the CDI. Otherwise You have to change the chip in the CDI. There is a program in the CDI that tells at what RPMs what to be the advance. The TPS is for some minor corrections in the ignition timing.
