oil leak at exhaust
02/27/05 at 16:03:20
Just bought a 97 Savage that runs great, but I have notice a little oil leaks where the exhaust connects to the engine and blows back through the cooling fins, which is a pain to get cleaned up, just to have it happen again. Not a bad leak, but still concerned. New to motorcycles and wondered if anyone had this problem with theirs and what the problem was.

The one I wound up with from RonAyers.com is part number 11145-41B01. I'm pretty sure it's the correct one. Very hard rubber construction.

Thanks for the replies and a special thanks for the step by step repair. I will be doing this repair within about two weeks, so that it is ready for warm weather.
